We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to building and maintaining reliable automated testing solutions.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with TypeScript and a solid understanding of Robot Framework, and is comfortable working closely with developers and other team members throughout the software development lifecycle.
Working schedule would be from 3 PM to 10 PM (Kyiv time)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using TypeScript and Robot Framework
- Create and improve test automation frameworks and reusable test components
- Develop automated tests for web applications and APIs
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and investigate failures
- Maintain and improve existing automated test suites
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and quality-related discussions
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to improving QA processes and overall product quality
Requirements
- 4+ years of commercial experience as an Automation QA / AQA Engineer
- Hands-on experience with of TypeScript
- Strong knowledge of Robot Framework
- Solid understanding of test automation architecture, approaches, and best practices
- Experience with automated testing of web applications and/or APIs
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
- Experience with Git
- Understanding of CI/CD processes
- Ability to analyze test failures and troubleshoot automation issues
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Commercial experience with Robot Framework
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or similar automation tools
- Experience with API testing tools and libraries
- Experience with Docker
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Experience setting up or improving test automation frameworks from scratch
