As a Shopify Developer, you’ll be responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing Shopify and Shopify Plus stores that deliver exceptional customer experiences. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable eCommerce solutions and drive continuous improvements across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Shopify storefronts.
• Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, sections, snippets, and metafields.
• Build responsive, accessible, and high-performing eCommerce experiences across devices and browsers.
• Configure products, collections, navigation, templates, customer accounts, and shopping cart functionality.
• Configure Shopify features, including checkout, shipping, payment methods, taxes, and customer experience settings.
• Develop and maintain integrations using Shopify APIs, GraphQL, REST APIs, and webhooks.
• Integrate Shopify with third-party platforms, including ERP, CRM, WMS, OMS, payment gateways, analytics, and marketing tools.
• Optimize storefront performance, SEO, accessibility, and Core Web Vitals.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, integration failures, and production incidents.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Product, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous platform improvements.

Requirements

• Commercial experience developing Shopify storefronts.
• Strong knowledge of Liquid, Shopify theme architecture, sections, snippets, templates, and metafields.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, Shopify APIs, and webhooks.
• Experience integrating Shopify with third-party services and business systems.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience optimizing website performance and troubleshooting production issues.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and modern development workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify Plus.
• Experience with Shopify Markets and multi-currency implementations.
• Experience integrating ERP, CRM, OMS, WMS, payment, fulfillment, or analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, SEO best practices, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Shopify CLI, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
• Experience working on enterprise-scale eCommerce solutions.
