QA Manual

We are looking for a highly skilled Manual QA Specialist to join a remote-friendly team on a long-term contract. You will help ensure product stability through strong test coverage, clear defect reporting, and disciplined release regression testing across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Confident use of Linux terminal for system monitoring and basic troubleshooting (ssh, ps, ls, top, etc.).
• Hands-on experience testing in VM environments for regression across multiple environments, including navigation through snapshots
• Understanding of large scale comapny patching workflows
• Solid experience writing and maintaining test cases and producing high-quality bug reports.

What You’ll Do:

• Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test suites for functional and regression testing (3 weeks cycle).
• Perform release regression testing and clearly communicate risks, blockers, and results.
• Validate fixes and manage the defect lifecycle with high-quality bug reports (steps, expected vs actual, logs, environment details).
• Test in Virtual Machine (VM) environments to reproduce issues and run regressions across different environments/configurations.
• Use Linux terminal commands for system monitoring and troubleshooting support (e.g., ssh, ps, ls, top).
• Work independently, navigate ambiguity, and use documentation to support well-reasoned testing decisions.
