The Business Analyst & Solutions Engineer – D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) is responsible for translating business objectives, operational requirements, and product vision into scalable, efficient, and sustainable technical solutions that achieve the business outcomes needed by the Business Stakeholders. The role ensures business requirements, operational priorities, detailed work breakdown with time estimates and system configurations are aligned to support reliable execution, continuous improvement, and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management:
- Gather, document, analyze, validate, and prioritize business requirements across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, and operational processes.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional requirements.
- Maintain requirement traceability and ensure alignment with business objectives.
D365 Functional Solution Design:
- Align business requirements with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM capabilities and best practices.
- Define scalable solutions that support operational efficiency and business growth.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
Backlog & Delivery Coordination:
- Support backlog refinement, prioritization, sprint planning, and delivery activities.
- Ensure initiatives are aligned with operational priorities and business value.
- Coordinate execution across cross-functional teams and implementation partners.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze workflows and identify process inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Drive process standardization, automation, and operational scalability.
- Support ongoing platform enhancements and business enablement initiatives.
Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with business users, leadership teams, and operational stakeholders to validate requirements and priorities.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and solution reviews.
- Ensure strong communication and alignment across business and technical teams.
Testing, Training & Change Management:
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation activities, and solution adoption.
- Assist with documentation, training coordination, and change management efforts.
- Help ensure successful user adoption and operational effectiveness.
Reporting & Business Insights:
- Support KPI alignment, reporting requirements, and operational visibility initiatives.
- Contribute to data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvements.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM), Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), or Dynamics AX.
- Strong background in Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, and Process Mapping.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations and business transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, or related operational processes.
- Experience working in Agile environments, including backlog management and sprint planning.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, developers, product teams, and implementation partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP integrations, APIs, and solution design.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar project management tools.
- Microsoft Dynamics certifications.
- Experience supporting organizational change management and user adoption initiatives.
