Senior Blockchain Engineer

We are seeking a Blockchain Engineer to design, develop, and optimize blockchain protocols, decentralized systems, and blockchain infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have experience working with distributed systems, consensus mechanisms, and blockchain security. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining blockchain networks, improving performance, and ensuring security in decentralized environments.

Required skills

• Strong experience in blockchain architecture, distributed systems, and cryptographic principles.
• Proficiency in one or more blockchain programming languages, such as C++, Rust, Go, or Java.
• Experience developing blockchain nodes, consensus algorithms, and peer-to-peer networks.
• Familiarity with proof-of-work (PoW), proof-of-stake (PoS), and other consensus mechanisms.
• Knowledge of Layer 2 solutions (Rollups, State Channels, Sidechains), sharding, and cross-chain protocols.
• Hands-on experience with developing and deploying blockchain networks (public or private).
• Understanding of smart contracts and blockchain security best practices.
• Experience with cloud-based blockchain deployments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.

What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and network infrastructure.
• Implement scalable and secure blockchain solutions for public, private, or hybrid blockchain networks.
• Develop core blockchain components, including nodes, transaction validation, and P2P networking.
• Optimize blockchain performance, including transaction speed, storage, and network efficiency.
• Collaborate with smart contract developers and DApp teams to integrate blockchain solutions.
• Research and implement Layer 2 scaling solutions, interoperability protocols, and cross-chain communication.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in blockchain networks.
• Write technical documentation and contribute to open-source blockchain projects.

Nice to Have (Optional):

• Prior contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
• Experience with Hyperledger, Cosmos SDK, Substrate, or enterprise blockchain frameworks.
• Knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), privacy-focused blockchains, or MEV (Miner Extractable Value).
• Experience in DeFi, NFT, or Web3 infrastructure.
