We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our small, skilled remote team and help integrate external sports services into our platform. You’ll be working with real-time APIs, connecting live sports data (like football match events) and displaying it on-screen for users across the globe.

Required skills

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience
• Strong experience with system integration and API consumption
• Familiarity with real-time data and asynchronous programming
• Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• A team player with a proactive mindset who enjoys remote work

What will you do?

• Build and maintain Java-based integrations with external sports data providers
• Work with real-time APIs and streaming data (e.g., live football scores and match events)
• Collaborate with a tight-knit team of 3 developers in a remote environment
• Ensure smooth data flow from third-party systems to front-end displays
• Help scale and evolve a system used by sports fans in real time
